      GED Success Series 3: Public Classes

      The GED Success Series is a 3-part class which prepares you for GED classes.  All students must complete all 3 parts before starting GED classes. Each class meets for 2.5 hours.  You must arrive promptly and plan to stay the entire scheduled time.  If you cannot attend the session or stay the entire time, call 768-6140 for a make-up date. 

      • DAY 1: Intake, Paperwork, Accommodations, Prior Tests, Orientation
      • DAY 2: Assessment (This may require an additional day in some cases)
      • DAY3: Counseling, Placement, Payment, and Books
      New and returning students are expected to come to the first day.  Returning students may not need to attend the second and third days.  Some new students may require more than one day of assessment.  Students who do not meet minimum TABE assessment scores will be referred to area reading programs.
