      YWCA Girl Action Team

      Girl Action Teams supports girls in fully developing their voice, ability, and problem solving capacity to realize their full potential. In this 12-week after school program, teams of girls tackle social change issues they feel passionate about. Guided by two coaches on a proven path, the girls identify, develop and present their solutions. The ideas are theirs, ensuring the success is theirs too. YWCA's Girl Action Team is open to the public: Middle and High School girls are invited to join! Our first meeting will be October 8th, 2018 from 4:45M-6:00PM. Transportation TO the program's location will be provided.  Girls from Thomas Jefferson High School will be picked up at 2:50PM, and the van will wait 10 minutes at the school. Those at Albert Hill Middle School will then be picked up at 3:15PM, and all the girls will make it to YWCA by 3:45PM.
